As Kaelynn Wang (‘26) prepares to graduate, she leaves behind a lasting impact on our school community. Through her dedication as ASB president, involvement in Access Youth Academy, and commitment to uplift those around her, she has become a student recognized not only for her achievements but also for the kindness she brings into the spaces she enters. This fall, she is preparing to continue her academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley.
Throughout her years at Preuss, Wang has embodied what it means to be a true leader. As ASB President, she has worked to strengthen the school spirit and create memorable experiences for the class of 2026. She hopes to take her passion for leadership to UC Berkeley through the clubs on campus.
“One of my biggest goals as ASB President was to bring our grade together before we graduate, “ stated Wang. “Being able to contribute to the experiences and memories of everyone’s senior year is something I’m grateful for.”
Beyond her leadership roles, many students and faculty know her for her positive attitude and ability to balance academics with her several commitments. Her dedication to both her studies and her community has made a significant impact in her decision to choose UC Berkeley.
“UC Berkeley gives me a chance to continue to challenge myself academically while surrounding myself with passionate and driven people,” said Wang. “I’m excited to meet new people and use everything I’ve learned at Preuss to make an impact in a larger community.”
As she looks back on her high school experience, Wang reflects on the relationships she has built and the memories she has created throughout her time at Preuss. While awards are meaningful, the connections she’s made with her friends and teachers remain among her highest achievements.
“One thing I’ll always carry with me is the people I met here,” expressed Wang. “The friendships, support from my teachers, and moments of school spirit are what made my high school experience special.”
As she begins a new chapter at UC Berkeley, Wang leaves behind a legacy of compassion, determination, and leadership. Her impact will continue to be felt throughout the school community, and future students will look up to the example she left.
“Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and take advantage of every opportunity,” said Wang. “The moments where you challenge yourself are often the ones that help you grow the most.”
