On February 24th, 2026, the Preuss Varsity Boy’s Basketball Team and Girl’s Varsity Soccer Team both won their semi final match, moving on to their CIF Championship game.
Preston Sterling (‘27) was the lead scorer for basketball, making a 15 point contribution to the 52-47 victory against the Grossmont Foothillers. Marley Montejo (‘26) scored both goals in the 2-1 soccer match triumph against the Holtville Vikings.
Both championship games will take place on Thursday, February 26th against the Coastal Academy Stingrays.
The Boy’s Basketball Championship game begins at 5:00, at Otay Ranch High School, while the Girl’s Soccer Championship game starts at 7:30, at Grossmont High School.
