On July 8, 2021, the NBA Finals will take place, with a championship series deciding the winner. The Eastern and Western conference champions will face off in a best-of-seven series, with games taking place on either team’s home floor.

Easter conference teams, the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks have been continuing to fight for a spot in the finals against western conference teams which currently consists of the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, and the LA Clippers.

With injuries taking a toll on these NBA teams it has become far more uncertain with who advances to the Finals. The two biggest contenders, the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets, have suffered a heavy loss due to injuries with Chris Paul (point guard) for the Suns being out due to Covid protocols, and with Kyrie Irving (point guard) being ruled out with an ankle injury.

NBA analysts predict the LA Clippers to win the Western conference due to their great defense and main scorers Kawhi Leonard, and Paul Goerge. In the Eastern conference analysts predict the Brooklyn Nets will advance to the finals because of their impeccable offense with the best players in the league, Kevin Durant, and another offensive threat, James Harden.
