NAMI Hosts Activities in Honor of Mental Health Awarness Month

The National Alliance on Mental Illness club (NAMI) is hosting a series of events throughout the month of May. These events will be held over Zoom and are available to anyone interested.

Eric Hernandez (‘22), an active member of the club, describes the activities as “a nice break from school induced stress.” The student who attends the most activities will receive a gift card. There will also be a prize for the advisory class that has the most students attending the activities.

NAMI is also hosting a 5K walk on Saturday, May 22nd, at 9am. This walk will be held at Balboa Park in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. To access the permission slip and more information, students can refer to the Preuss bulletin.
