Announced in early October, UC San Diego students, faculty, and staff now have on-campus, self testing COVID-19 vending machines available to them in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

“The Vending Machines on campus have been a group effort with the collaboration of UCSD Health and IT Services. There are a total of 11 vending machines, this will be good for all students and promote testing so that we can maintain a safer campus,” states Kevin De Silva, second year student at UCSD.

To ease the congestion of students waiting in line to get tested weekly at the Price Center, the self administered CoronaVirus tests allow students to get immediate and direct results using the UCSD and the MyChart app.
