Musical star Aubrey Drake Graham, most famously known as Drake, released his eighth studio album named “For All The Dogs” on October 6, 2023. This album features twenty-three Hip-Hop and Rap songs about heartbreak and his nonchalant lifestyle being at the top of the music industry. The album cover is an artwork of a dog drawn by his five-year old son, Adonis Graham who surprisingly raps in the album song, “Daylight”.

The long-awaited album has already broken Billboard records by having seven songs from the album in the top ten mainstream Hip-Hop and Rap songs in the month of October. This is his thirteenth album to gain the number one spot album in the United States(U.S) as all twenty-three songs from his album gained a spot in the Billboard Hot 100. Not only has Drake’s broken records in the U.S, also in his hometown in Canada where this album received the number one spot in Billboard Canadian Albums of the year.

According to music and entertainment data company, “Luminate”, the album has sold over 400,000 album-equivalent units and 10,000 album sales in the U.S alone. In the week he released the album, it gained over 500 million listens becoming the largest stream of an album of 2023 and the fourth of all time. Undeniably, Drake has continuously broken records with this album release, he has been one of the highest earning and consistent Hip-Hop and Rap artists of this generation.

As of today, there have been four music videos for the album on Youtube, “8am in Charlotte”, “Polar Opposites”, “Another Late Night” featuring famous rapper Lil Yachty and “First Person Shooter” featuring world renowned rapper, J.Cole. Since his album release, Drake has announced an upcoming 2024 tour in the U.S named “It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?” from January 18th to March 27th featuring J.Cole on most of the dates. According to Billboard, tickets have already started going on sale as of November 17, 2023, so make sure to purchase your tickets quickly to see Drake and J.Cole perform songs from For All The Dogs Album and other iconic songs from the artist’s discography.
