Puerto Rican Singer and Rapper Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, famously known as “Bad Bunny,” released a new album on October 13, 2023 named “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana.” The title translates to “Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow” to raise suspense and excitement amongst his fans into his next steps in his music career. The album contains 22 songs total; the majority are Latin Trap. The album includes collaborations with famous Latin artists such as Mora, FEID and Bryant Myers.
I would recommend this album to people who usually listen to Spanish Trap and Reggeton along with other genres. After listening to the album a couple of times, I grew to love it. As of now, my favorite song on the album is “MONACO” which talks about the luxurious life that Bad Bunny now lives. I also recommend “WHERE SHE GOES”, for its melodic Rap rhythm and great mixture of different music genres such as Drill, Hip-Hop, Jersey Club all into one song.
“I was waiting very eagerly for this album, and when it came out, I rushed to listen to it, so far my favorite song is “PERRO NEGRO” says, Amayrani Calderon (24’).
Brenda Velazquez (25’) comments, “I rate the album a 8/10 overall, because it’s not my favorite, but he never disappoints.” She also mentions that she expected more from the album, due to his hype on social media but she is happy he released new music.
Bad Bunny has been one of the most streamed artists on Spotify for over 3 years now and has over 50 billion streams. He has changed the Latino industry for many artists, and opened new doors for Trap and Reggaeton genres. He first began his professional career in 2018, when he first released a single called “Diles” which quickly gained worldwide recognition earning millions of streams. He now has more than 70 songs and over 30 collaborations with other artists.
Throughout the past years, Bad Bunny has gained more recognition, and people of all ages listen to his music. He has over 45 million followers on Instagram, and more than 70 million on Spotify. The majority of his fans are Hispanic, due to his songs being in Spanish.
He had not released an album since the summer of 2022, called “Un Verano Sin Ti” meaning “A Summer Without You.” The album became the most streamed album on Spotify and later went on tour. Fans now hope he does the same for “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana”.
