Journalism Posts Applications

Tracy Trinh, Podcaster

Starting the week of April 3rd, Journalism will be taking applications for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a team of writers, photographers, podcasters, and editors. Applications will be available in Ms. Garcia’s room (E102) to high schoolers only and must be returned by April 7th.

“It’s a great opportunity to not only earn another course for your A-G requirements, but it’s a way to build community and connection with your peers,” Darcie Duong (‘23) Editor In Chief, emphasizes.

This student led class provides many opportunities to be creative and to collaborate. This includes opportunities to work in different settings and collaborate with new peers. The number of stories to write and topics to cover are endless. Journalism also provides a different experience for students wanting to try something new. Different aspects such as a new community and opportunities to work in teams is why Journalism stands out. Overall, becoming a journalist opens windows of opportunity and allows one to improve and develop skills.
