Shakespeare Festival has begun production at the Preuss School UCSD. The Drama department will be in charge of the festival. They have begun shooting the first scenes of the film.

Shakespeare Festival is an event organized by the Drama department, directed by Mr. Rocca. The main cast of the film will be Cesar Herrera (‘23) as Macbeth, Angelina Abdelrahman (‘24) as Lady Macbeth , Juan Gonzalez (‘23) as Banquo, Andy Le (‘23) as Lieutenant Duncan, Nova Solan (‘24) as the 1st witch , Lesly Castillo (‘24) as the second witch, and Catherine Ortiz (‘23) as the third witch. The main cinematographer will be Miguel Santiago (‘24)

“I am very excited for our new project”, director Mr. Rocca said, “I’m particularly excited about this film because we have all new equipment such as Cameras and I think this has the potential to be the best Shakespeare fest in the history of the school.”
