The Preuss National Spanish Honor Society continues the Love a Llama Fundraiser everyday during lunch in front of the Walton Center for students to purchase gift bags to raise funds.

The purpose of Love a Llama Fundraiser is to raise enough money to buy a llama for a family in need in the Andes Mountains. The National Spanish Honor Society is working with a company whose mission is to help out those in poverty.

“The reason we chose to buy a llama is because they’re the only animal to handle the harsh conditions in the Andes Mountains and the llamas are a livelihood for the families,” stated Ms. Viviana Zamora, advisor of the Society.

The fundraiser has been going on for 2 weeks and will end on December 16, 2022.
