On September 16, ASB booked a truck called Kona Ice located at the back gate near the field to sell snow cones students can buy during lunch every B-day Friday.

Kona Ice sells snow cones with eight different flavors to choose from and prices ranging from $4 to $7 depending on the cup size. This is an unexpected but great surprise for students who want to buy and eat a cold treat during hot, sunny days.

Due to the specialty of the snow cones, there have been long lines of students waiting outside the truck. Unfortunately, some students have not been able to purchase a snow cone.

“It was sad, I waited for so long in line just to get one but I couldn’t,” says Melissa Halloran (26’).

To prevent this from happening again, ASB has made a schedule where different grades have seven minutes to buy a snow cone. Goes for both Middle and High school students.
