Back to School Night gives parents the opportunity to meet their children’s teachers at the Preuss School UC San Diego and will take place virtually on September 22, 2022.

Due to Covid-19, the Preuss School changed back to school night to be online but instead of creating a zoom meetings for every class teachers will create a video for parents and students to watch.

“I am thankful that BTSN is online again this year because it gives parents more convenience and because of UCSD and Preuss’s Covid rules. It would be hard to physically distance with 50 people in a classroom and I would find it to be challenging regulating mask requirements for parents,” stated History and Advisory teacher, Mr. Carr.

This gives the opportunity for more parents to meet their students’ teachers because not all parents can attend back to school night at the same time when it comes to meeting on zoom.

“I also like that it’s online because it gives more access for parents who live far away or who work late,” stated History and Advisory teacher, Mr. Carr.
