On February 15th, 2022, the hit game “Elden Ring” was released to the public. Elden Ring is a spiritual successor to the hit-series “Dark Souls”. Elden ring has been seen as a huge success in the past days, earning a 10/10 on IGN, an acclaimed video game entertainment companion, and even a 90% on Metacritic as well. The plot revolves around the titular Elden Ring, a magical item that has been fractured and scattered around the globe. The goal of the game is to locate the shards, restore the ring to its original condition, and eventually become the Elden Lord. With over 80 bosses and 70 of them being unique, this game is unlike anything we have seen before.

Elden Ring is different from the previous games. This one was designed to be open-world, which means that players can explore the entire world map, even after they complete the game, and do side quests and get hidden gear. The game studio that made Elden Ring, Bandai Namco, used this game as a restart. Although the game is still difficult, they made it more appealing to newer players as well. Many believed that the game would be too difficult to enjoy for new players, but Elden Ring managed to bring in the sixth highest concurrent player count on Steam ever.
