Netflix released a new season of Money Heist, La Casa de Papel on September 3, 2021, released for everyone to watch.

The final season has started, but Netflix is doing things a little differently. Instead of having all the ten episodes come out all at once, only five have been released and the next five will be released on Friday, December 3, 2021. The halves have been named Volume 1 and Volume 2, respectively.

As on December 3, 2021,  Money Heist is coming back for another season on Netflix, the streaming platform wanted to make sure that the fans were able to enjoy it without any spoilers. The brand invited a group of avid viewers and potential spoiler makers, people who may or may not spoil the show, to a special launch event for the show “Why Netflix Held Fans Hostage For The Launch Of Money Heist”. Adweek.Com, 2021. This was to make sure that there were no spoilers so everyone can watch it without expecting something. The creators did this to make sure that everyone enjoys it on their own terms, meaning without anyone ruining the show for that person. The goal of the new season was to make it emotional and have viewers get sad or upset or feeling anything about how far everyone has come from the beginning of the show to what it has led up to now.
“In Volume Two, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure,” states Pina.
Fans have been impressed by the new season on Money Heist. Without Netflix, Money Heist wouldn’t have been continued. In 2017, Money Heist was aired on a Spanish channel Antena 3. Netflix tried to keep it nice and quiet and changed the title from La Casa de Papel to Money Heist to grab more for a US audience as well. I think that it was a good idea that Netflix decided to keep this quiet and tried to grab more attention from the US because now the show has grown to a bigger audience. The show has a lot of plots and twists and surprises. Some main characters make the show even more fun by just being themselves due to the fact that they can be spontaneous. In Money Heist, you never know exactly what’s going to happen next.
